Are there any Partner firms that will not be requiring vaccination for employment?

Family has history of genetic heart disease issues and several family members are experiencing adverse health complications following vaccination. Deloitte implemented mandatory vaccination requirement for return to office with no health exemption mention.

Not here to debate the merits of the vaccine, solely interested in whether this is expected to be a de-facto Partner firm requirement across the board soon.

Mine has no active policy. But I would not want to be working with you in an office if you refuse to be vaccinated, but still want to come into the office. So I will not share my partner name.

D here and totally anti-anti-vaxxer (as in pro-vaccine!)
We do exist 😆

Strongly believe there is missing information in the original post. Prior to FDA approval, it would be a massive legal issue to mandate a vaccine as a condition of employment. Now that Pfizer is FDA approved, *valid* medical exceptions still have to be acknowledged and honored. That's literally one of the goals of a vaccine, after protecting the individual getting it; protecting vulnerable populations. ***IF*** someone has an actual valid medical exemption, and an employer doesn't recognize that, definitely setting themselves up for a legal battle.

like

OP literally wants to return to normal with no vaccine as if the virus just doesn’t exist. Ridiculous.

like

Probably going to be pretty common soon, if only for insurance reasons. Why do you need to go into the office? I’ve been to mine maybe 4-5 times in 3 years.

likefunny

So you want to go to the office, network, attend events, and NOT GET VACCINATED?? Am I reading this correctly?

OP, I highly doubt your Physician discouraged you from taking the COVID vaccine. Either roll with the expectations or find yourself getting a new role potentially out of the ecosystem.

like

I have a very complicated medical history of autoimmunes and female problems. I have had 4/4 of my physicians discourage me from getting the vaccine. I went ahead and got it to travel but just FYI. It is possible for physicians to advise against it.

like

If you have heart problems, you need to be at the front of the line for the vaccination.

While DXC is remote first, there's now a requirement to be vaccinated to travel.

I think you mis interpretated the email ... It's mandatory vaccine to enter office premises ... No one's asking you to go to office .. it's a choice

No, if you read the OP I clearly stated the current vaccine requirement is strictly for “return to office.” The mandate restricts networking and makes relationship building infinitely more difficult.

I love Deloitte, but would prefer to take my experience to a different firm or go independent rather than be treated differently if I don’t receive a medical treatment which I have been recommended to avoid by my physician.

I’m sure you can get it waived if it’s a medical issue.

You sure could but most people claiming it’s a medical issue are lying so 🤷‍♀️

Hi Fishes,
I have overall experience of 5yrs. Out of which 3years for US healthcare and 2 years for US mortgage. US mortgage domain has now become thinner as industry almost sunk since most of the companies has laid off employees, I was also the victim. Fortunately, got an opportunity to work Optum but heard rumours about the lay-off in our entire process which is creating a frustration and negativity all around. Please refer me if there's any relevant opening in backhend operations. Thanks!

However a new role in industry might not be as easy either and I'll need to prove myself, where as currently I'm already regarded as a high performer and gained trust.

There were some oddities on the ultrasound- wondering if any of you have experienced any/all of these and how it worked out (doc didn’t sound alarms, just said we’d keep an eye, but naturally I’m worried):
1. Grapefruit sized cyst on right ovary 2. Unknown object with no heartbeat (maybe a hematoma) in the gestational sac with my baby 3. An empty gestational sac

Hi everyone! I work in personal lines and I’m looking to start selling more life insurance. I want to start with cross selling to those in our book of business. Does anyone have tips that they’ve found successful in starting the conversation? Term/perm convos etc? I’ve read up on our products and my boss doesn’t really train on this and it’s more of a figure it out yourself approach he takes so any tips would be appreciated.

Less than a year before I can retire and not sure I can make it. The stress at home, work and with the aches and pains of my 54 year old body are taking their toll. I'm cutting back to my usual dose of D3 because I think the higher COVID dose is disrupting my sleep, but how else do you recommend shut down your mind when your ADHD mind won't turn off work.

Why is it that when we’re sick, we go to a doctor, when we are in legal trouble, we turn to a lawyer, when we need help building a house, we turn to advice from an architect, but when it comes to deen we think we are the experts and not the scholars who’ve spent their life studying theology and Islam.
