For sure. Senior judges in my district have remote career clerks. Find judges that spend a large portion of the year elsewhere.

I believe there are also staff attorney positions at various federal courts of appeals that have gone remote. I'm not sure that's a permanent change, however.

There’s definitely remote careers in my district also.

I think many may not be advertised as remote but if you’re the right candidate they can make that work. There were a few people working remotely when I clerked.

I’m a term clerk and our career clerk is 99% remote. The career clerk for the different judge I externed for would work remote for approx. 2 weeks a month.

Hi guys, an extension on my previous post. Which company should I prefer:

CitiusTech - 25 LPA- 2 days WFO in my hometown

R Systems - 28 LPA - Remote

YOE - 6.5 years

Looking for stability, decent WLB and good growth opportunity. Difference of 1-2 lacs doesn't matter too much.

These are the final options I have. No more interviews/offers lines up.

Any help or suggestions will be highly appreciated.

What is a reasonable amount to accept to settle a case with undisputed liability? Let’s say for example potential damages are realistically $100k-1M. Let’s say cost of defense is $200k. No chance of them getting out on SJ or a MTD. Is cost of defense a reasonable starting point? It seems like an offer below that would not be serious.

International arb associates: in general, when does your team have the (almost) final draft ready for the client's review?

On a related question, how far in advance do you start preparing for the hearing (opening, cross, etc)?

I ask because our team is never able to produce a final draft until hours past the deadline (yes, we never meet the deadline set by the tribunal). And our partners don't tell us who should prepare for what until like a week or a few days before the hearing.
