That’s a very good Q - my guess is if the same recruiters see your referrals over and over again they may become meaningless haha
If you get a number of referrals hired and they are not good that will reflect on you as well.
If you know they are good, it’s good karma on your part.
You refer 100 candidates, 100 get hired—awesome, you saved your employer a lot of cash in talent acquisition cost!
You refer 100 candidates, none get hired—you wasted everyone’s time, won’t reflect well on you.
The latter won’t reflect well on you. The former is great because you do the first round of due diligence that is normally done by Talent Acquisition or headhunters.
