Gov attorney, 8 years out of law school and will make over $100k for the first time this year. Gov benefits are great and WLB is amazing (I have a wife and child). We are less than 2 hours from all of our collective family now. I have an offer with a small firm I am highly interested in. $165k base + bonus for only 1800 billable hours, but it is 8+ hours from our families. $90k in student loan debt left. I hate that I get depressed before my period every month! I was fine yesterday, but suddenly I feel lonely and want to cry. Then my period will come and I'll feel okay mood-wise. I'll be in pain for a couple days and have regular energy for a week or so. Then super horny for a bit. Then I'll be tired for a week and back to the top. What apps/websites help keep you focused and productive during the workday?

My therapist tried to diagnose me for ADHD by asking me a series of questions. The end conclusion was I may have it and she wasn’t a 100% sure about it.
Is there a scan or exam I can take that will help me with the diagnosis?

My husband and I are coming to realization that he has ADHD. Where can we start to get a diagnosis and treatment. If diagnosed, would he need to go through medication like adderall or is it something that can be managed with therapy and supplements/lifestyle changes?

I just wanna say that my head feels better since I take lion's mane extract. I stopped zoning out, I have less narrations in my head simultaneously. I can actually do tasks on almost time. If someone wants to try, it's mandatory to take vitamin c with it. It's a life changer for me. I wanted to share it.

Does anyone have a list of the things (food, drink, other OTC meds) that make adderall less effective? I know I can simple google search and ask my doctor but want to hear other peoples thoughts…I love drinking my coffee to wake me up in the morning but I’m afraid it’s making my meds less bc of its acidic nature 😵

Has anyone else tried Strattera, had success, and a few months later felt like work was a struggle again? Am I imagining it? I've been aware of my ADHD for the last few years after having an initial consult but only recently began treatment at the beginning of this year. I joined a new organization and the start up environment had me feeling like I needed to be the "best" version of myself. Now, I feel completely overwhelmed. My company knows I can handle it, and get stuff done so they kept piling on more and now I'm so burned out, there's no salvaging it. Can anyone else relate?

I'm upping my dosage this month for the first time since I started taking medication. I've had very few side effects so far (trouble sleeping) but I'm worried with this higher dosage I'll get more of the bad along with more of the good. What do you guys use for insomnia or sleep issues while on ADHD medication? Thanks.

I started my job just over a month ago and the one day a week I work from home I absolutely love. I have an hour commute to the office all other days and I'd love to even just get one more day at home. My manager is not aware of my adhd and I have crippling fear and shame around it so I'd rather not tell him. The office environment I'm in is honestly any neuroduvergent's nightmare. I know it's probably wrong to not tell him but I don't want any judgement.

What are some habits that inhibit you from being successful at your job?
