Who is in the dental field?
I started working for my company about 6 weeks ago and I was originally hired to work from a specific location closer to my home. I was told the 1st day of my employment that the location “is not ready yet” and that I would be working out of a temp location further from my home. It has been really inconvenient for me to say the very least and the remote option is unavailable to me until after the probation period which is 6 months. How should I approach having this conversation with my director?

I don’t know of any entry level administrator positions. Do you have a specific hospital or health system you would love to work for? If so, I would start looking at those places and maybe find a manager/supervisor position for a year and then look at administrator positions.
The best thing you can do is do an administrative residency.
You can also look towards rural areas or medical groups, where you're more likely to gain an administrative position fresh out of graduate school.
Sorry I don’t have an answer for you, but was getting your MHA difficult? Costly? Looking into this at the moment.. thank you!
I am about 3 months from completing my MHA. I paid as I went (about 1200-1300 per class) and didn’t accumulate any debt. Cost varies significantly, based on the school you choose.
I just got mha as well. I have found it difficult to find an administrator position with 2 years of healthcare experience. I currently work in graduate medical education and am hoping to move up when I get a little more experience. I know several people who graduated with me that are working in administrative assistant positions. I think the goal is to find something relevant enough and grow from there
I just received my bachelor's in healthcare administration and feel as though I get overlooked since I dont have hospital experience only dental.
it's been less than a year
