Many #machinelearning algorithms, whether supervised or unsupervised, make use of distance measures.
Take k-NN for example, a technique often used for supervised learning. As a default, it often uses euclidean distance.
By itself, a great distance measure.
Knowing when to use which distance measure can help you go from a poor classifier to an accurate model.

It’s just a job. Don’t let it define you. Get in. Get paid and what you need. Get out.
Don’t get attached to the work or anyone you work with.
View it as a job.
Find joy in your family and friends and experiences you have outside of work.
Who gives a shit? It’s just advertising.

SC1 nailed it. Advertising will never lead to true creative fulfillment. What you make is never yours. Go make a short film or something, and make that the thing you demand greatness from. But for your job, just do your best and don’t let it kill you.
I can’t believe this app is free - these responses make me feel so much better
No
Thank you. I really needed to hear that.
Get paid. Do your best. Don’t let it define you.
No, and life changes for the better when you realize that.
I set boundaries now. I stop giving 110%. I tell my boss I can’t work this weekend. I care more about my passions and relationships outside work. I shrug it off when a project falls apart. I no longer view my self-worth through the lens of what I do for a living.
It’s hard to admit the fulfilling ad career you fantasized about was all an illusion, but I promise it’s better than trying to maintain that illusion.

No, not for most. The highs are high, the lows are very low.
100% no. last day at my awful job today and I couldn’t feel happier or lighter
I ask myself this everyday
Yes. 63% of ad copywriters are independently wealthy and at least regionally famous by 50.

Some famous shops are worth suffering for early in your career so you can cash out in-house later. (At least that’s what I’m telling myself.)
Reading an increasing onslaught of headlines that all give great fact-based reasons why we’re all existentially doomed.
Don’t work passed 6 today. Enjoy your friends and fam. Eat good stuff. Order a $15 cocktail. Have fun this weekend. Take a deep breath.
Our jobs aren’t more important than living life. However long it might last.
Holy shit I think I’ve hit rock bottom.

Feel grateful you have a job, but it’s only a job. Do it and go home and spend time with your friends and family, it’s much more rewarding than working on award bait, trust me.

If everyone leaves at once what can they do

no, they are not
Of course they are. These are not real jobs, esp for creatives. Work a real job and then compare. But as others have noted, it’s critical to jealously guard your time and effort. Only expend when it’s a bona fide opportunity with a media plan in place. None of this “if we like it we’ll pay for it” bullshit.
Nope.
