I feel bad for your generation. Has to be tough thinking everyone else has it better than you do.

Part of the problem is that technology and social media has complicated our lives faster than we can biologically adapt. I’m a millennial raising kids and am trying to keep them away from screens as long as possible without making them disadvantaged relative to other kids.

Really wish I was one of the crypto millionaires
Just remember that for every dollar they made, someone eventually lost a dollar.

If getting rich were easy we'd all be rich. Just do you.
I thought about it and came to the conclusion that i would probably hate their personality in person. To have a personality that wants to film so much of your private life and to always be thinking about how you can create clickbaity content every week… or to date someone with a large social media following (oh man the constant photos and filming i would lose my mind!!!)
That’s when I started to almost feel sorry for them. Poof went all of my jealousy
This.
My gf previously dated someone who became an influencer over time -- she said it's pretty revolting. While some of that is also part of that person, the constant 'on' mode was terrible.
I can barely tolerate crowds or being watched so I know I couldn't handle the need to constant be seen (whether inherently or a mechanism after / function of achieving measure of success on a platform).
And crypto millionaires!
It’s actually a lot of work to do that kind of thing and it takes some amount of luck to get discovered and become viral enough to make a living. You may have to put out some unsavory content to stay relevant and keep the numbers up, which can mess with you as well.
Most Youtube videos get very few views.

Not sure but being a youtuber now, but 5-10 years ago would definitely have been a better gig. These days ad revenues are thinner and content takes more work to hit an audience. Unless you find some sort of untapped super niche that turns into a cash cow, you need to spend countless hours editing and researching what’s trending let alone creating content curated for maximum appeal.
Ah man i know!
