“We’Re nOt GoING tO oVerPaY” girl, bye.
Because they want people who take one for the team. The multi-million dollar corporation team.

The respect and engagement of your employees has to be earned. It’s not a given from day 1.
Treat them like a number and they will treat you like a number right back.

Glad I didn’t take a role offered to me. Cringe
What’s Havas’ mission? If they stand for something worthwhile, they’ll attract likeminded employees who will go above and beyond to do something great.
But with a post like that, it seems they’re more about trying to attract and exploit people whose inherent commitment and passion will enable them to ignore the mistreatment they’re going to receive.
No one gets into this business because they want to be average. But shaft them for a couple of years with politics, favouritism, low wages, bad work/life balance, and the clear sense that management is enriching themselves on the back of their contributions, and you’ll end up with “transactional” employees — people who trade their time for money, because they’re smart enough to realize they’re trapped in a rigged game where the returns are diminishing.
A… MEN!!!

Are they a transactional employer or an engaged employer?

That’s kind of what I figured. If they’re a transactional employer, she should expect transactional employees.
I’m sorry you got laid off. I hope you’ve found work.
Engaged = gets walked all over
Transactional = understood the assignment

She gets appropriately called out, and retreats to “you are twisting my words.” Also funny because if I write something as a creative, and it doesn’t land, I think on how to sharpen the message. Don’t enter the arena if you’re gonna be precious about criticism.
Havas is a clown show in a dumpster fire
Love a good meet-cute. Tell us how this ends! 🤩🍿
Lmao, this post is delusional. Sincerely, a former transactional employee of Havas Health. 🤮
Anyone at Havas, engaged or transactional, DM me and at a minimum I’ll get you in front of my recruiter. I need to hire like 30 people.

Power moves.
.
I would have thought that recruiting talent for Havas Health of all places (an uphill battle if ever there was one), would make you a little less particular about the mental outlook of potential employees.
I am the Stanley Hudson of my agency. Very transactional
I even read this in his voice/tone.
Transactional = has a work/life balance.
What's next, PUBLIC declarations of fealty before you can get promoted?
Have seen such LinkedIn posts. Bruh, you've been there for just two weeks and you're already posting on LinkedIn on what a great place it is , tagging your bosses for showing you the light n a fk load of useless hashtags.
Hail corporate !
Here she goes again...🤮
Great post if your goal is to reinforce the stigma of working at a big ad agency = “working for the man.”
Note to self: Never to work there. I think she just made her own recruiting job harder. 🤷♂️
People are becoming ~transactional employees~ because there’s no sense of agency culture (not bagel Mondays or beer fridges culture, but “working towards the same goal” culture) or loyalty I get from working at my kitchen table.
I’m gonna work where I get the biggest paycheque for the best work/life balance.
Literally nothing else driving the decision because the other factors that existed pre-WFH are ever-dwindling.
She also doesn’t remember her candidates. At all. She has messaged me three or four times in the last six months, not realizing that we’ve already engaged and I have given her the same response every time. Best part is that she replies to our existing thread 😅
Apparently if your time and work have value you're not willing to just give away, that's incompatible with professional growth and job satisfaction? 🤔 So many talent scout LinkedIn posts are just deepthroating corporate alllll day.
