Check your policies and let the lead engagement manager know. Typically they will reassign since this opens the door to a bunch of possible issues.
A male and a female on my team at EY began dating. (Now engaged). They had to report it to HR and they have to fill out a bunch of compliance forms annually. I know that the partner has to fill out forms too annually.
You need to check with your policies. Generally it’s ok but that varies by company.
Sharing what I’ve seen in my office: my coworker who started at the same time with me dated a senior she works with on the same engagement. She asked to be transferred to other subservice line and eventually left the firm after they engaged. Two years after they’ve been together. Not sure if she followed company policy but it looked like she knew what to do.
