Are you being asked to teach both in-person and online?

Yes and as a thank you gift, my district has raised our insurance premiums.

I am a middle school instructional assistant for Resource. We are asked to support not only to float around and help the kids in class, but also the kids on zoom. So I have to zoom into the teachers class zoom and have it playing in my ear to support the ones online and then walking around the classroom as well. Almost 100% of our teachers are being asked to teach synchronously online and in person.

Yes. We are both in person and one line

I tech special education and have online and in class kids that have goals that have to be met so I am doing both.

No i was told how school was going to run.

Yes, we have a group of kids enrolled in our classes via Google Classroom but working online at home and it’s a lot!! I’m glad they’re getting that opportunity if they need it but I feel like I can’t give both equal attention a lot of the time unfortunately when 90% of my students are in person.

We have three things going on. We have virtual students that are “taught” by one teach over Plato. The majority of kids are in person. But as they are exposed we have quarantined kids that switch between in person and temporary virtual. The temps are the hardest. Any kid can be pulled out in the blink of an eye and gone for 14 days.

Yes. For each period of the day, we are required to login to a Google Meet, take attendance for virtual students at the same time in-person students are in the classroom making noise, and give instructions to the virtual students as well as the in-person students. Once these steps are taken, it is up to the teacher's discretion as to when to allow the virtual students to sign out of the Meet. This policy applies to classrooms teachers & substitute teachers, as substitute teachers are given the link to each class' Google Meet for that period.

☝🏻 teaching both! However, I started with 6 virtual and am down to one. Thankful for that!

Actually I teach and have to keep track of 3 sets of kids.
Virtual, temporary virtual and in class students.

We do in person and google meets simultaneously.

I am suppose to but i look out for all my students. I try to create work i know my all students are able to complete.

Anyone been to the Cherry Blossom Festival Pink Tie Party before? Fun? Thoughts?

Why yes I did just add to my resume my experience as a mother to my resume. Highlights included: my ability to lead a team, encourage a team, discipline a team, multitask like a pro, organize chaos, and juggle many responsibilities day in and day out. Any other moms feel our experiences within the home, hold just as much merit as the experiences learned in the workforce?

Best tasty low calorie salty snacks? I used to go with popcorn but am fed up with the kernels getting stuck in my teeth. I’m on a weight loss journey so low calorie is unfortunately important - otherwise Id just keep enjoying french fries 😂 speaking of if anyone has any tasty low calorie subs for French fries that would also be amazing 👀

“Mindful of the optics of jettisoning the only woman in their ranks, they have quickly coalesced behind Ms. Stefanik, who has been among the former president’s most vociferous defenders but whose voting record is far less conservative than Ms. Cheney’s.” So funny how republicans criticized Biden for saying he’d nominate a woman for VP.

How much of being successful at MBB comes from pure intelligence vs effort/strong work ethic? I know a combination of the two is important but just wondering if anyone has noticed this play out at their firm.

It often seems that hard work can take you a lot further than natural talent and I’m wondering if that holds true at MBB.

Must try food recommendations on big island hawaii? Kona to be specific. Thank you 😊
