I'm lucky I landed C jobs at BCG and Bain in Doha. Please, I need your opinion on the below

1.BCG is T1 in the region while Bain doesn't seem so. Do you confirm? And the trend?

2.Interviews/negotiations went great with Bain vs BCG more acrimonious. Does my experience reflect structural cultural differences (pressure, up or out, cutthroat)?

3.What about transfers to the US-EU?

Your personal opinion: would you prioritize BCG T1 status over Bain "friendly culture"?

How is Bain private equity group in Dubai?
-Is it comparable to other geographies at bain? Ie same kind of work
- split of clients between large international funds (blackstone, kkr, apollo etc) vs local/sovereign wealth funds?
- how does it stack up vs competition?
- are career prospects and wlb there similar to those of other geographies at the firm?
- Does it account for a large share of firm's local revenue as it does elsewhere?
- Exit opps from there at senior manager / AP level?

What are some tells that a research article is not reliable/shouldn’t be taken seriously?

Hi all! I wanted to share a tip I’ve learned that really helped me nail these interviews I just did. At the end of each interview, I always followed up with “Was there anything on my resume that I could provide some clarification for you?” This allowed my interviewer to bring up any further concerns/questions and let me really highlight my strengths, and gave me a chance to alleviate those concerns for them. I really do think this was a key factor as to why I got the job I did!

Switching jobs soon and will have a couple weeks at the end of November/start of December before the new job starts. Does anyone have any recommendations on a quick trip. I’m based in Chicago. Prefer international, since I’ve traveled to most places in the US. Thank you!

I’ve recently transitioned from Travel Customer Service role (8 YOE) to Analyst in the same LOB. Earlier I resolved travel queries through calls/emails, but now my role is to analyse travel spending on Amex cards. Now I want to remain in analysis field and grow. I currently only use SQL, Power-BI and MS-Suite. What should I learn further? Which tools or is there a course I should do? I’ve only done Graduation and thinking of doing PGDM in Data Analytics or BI.
