AE = If you like sales, negotiating, strategy, but prefer to disengage and let someone else take care of change management once the ink is dry. CSM = if you enjoy project management, strategy, change management.

Life is about learning. Stay in school and get your Psychology Degrees. Help people become a better version of themselves. There is no greater gift. Sales will always be a Plan B that you can start anytime.

Everyone is different and we’re in different roles for different reasons. I have been in sales for a long time but don’t love it. What I do love is helping people so if I could I would go back for psych. Do what makes you happy...I wish I would have. Passion is everything!

I would expect most in this bowl will say they love their career. I like it because it is a performance career. You have to train and educate yourself on how to best address your customers needs. If done successfully you can provide an environment and solution that grows their company but also yours. In addition to that you can also provide financial success for yourself more than any other profession; in my opinon. Go look at the compensation threads in this bowl. Where else can you gain that level of income? Finally, check out Belal Batrawy. He is big in using psychology as apart of his sales process. Given your degree it might be of some interest. https://www.linkedin.com/in/belbatrawy

An interviewing company hasn’t offered me the job yet but is asking me for my visa documents so their counsel can take a look. I assume they want to see how much time is left before extending offer. Has anyone been in this situation yet? I’m a bit wary of sending over personal legal documents when things are still up in the air

Turning 30 and just feel like I’m getting dumber. I am a smart person (at least relatively) and work at MBB but lately I just feel as though I have not been as sharp as I normally am. I spent the last week drinking and going out till 3am every night (NYC) so that doesn’t help but are there any tips to regain my form and just become smarter?

Is there any chance I can make for promotion by next yr to consultant. The associate consultant designation will put me behind 2019 batch mates (at par with 2020 batch) . I already have 2.5 yrs post mba work ex. Do let me know. Want to understand if i am making the right offer or should I reject it.
