I make more money than my friends. So yeah I guess
Already had my quarter life crisis. Am I exempt from the midlife now
Yes I am. I was making 40k last year and made a transition to asset management making 70k this year. Very well aware that this is much less than what most people make on this app but at the moment having an additional 30k has made my life so much more comfortable. I’m grateful and content while working hard to make more in future 🙂
Comfort and happiness are two distinct items. You are 100% correct that money make most thing easier. Having enough money reduces anxiety. However, it does not buy satisfaction or happiness.
With work? No; With life? No
Hahaha, i feel you 😂 i recently got into a car crash and totalled my car, and just have a new appreciation for life. Happy to be here 🙏🏼

Not always …
I think no one is happy all the time but yeah overall satisfied
I'm doing well, I need to just focus more on myself and not worry so much about what other folks think.
Happiness is a capitalistic fabrication of the west. It’s neither bad, nor good. Neither moral nor immoral. It’s just, by nature, fleeting. Instead, seek truth, peace and equanimity.
😂
Yes! Of course, not all day every day but almost everyday 😊however, that doesn’t mean that every now and then one might feel down.
With work no, with life yes!
Happy? Yes, mostly. Joyous? Not sure, but trying to chase and sustain joy is exhausting and fleeting, so I settle for being “pretty happy” most of the time.
Happiness is a bad metric to focus on. Life is a journey with peaks and valleys. I think it’s better to focus on meaning. Do you believe in what you’re doing? If you have something worth doing, “happiness” can come and go and you will be okay. That doesn’t mean you should feel like you are constantly suffering though either.
Yes :)
I'm okay, what is "happy" anyway lol
I don't understand what this word "happy" is
This!
Happiness is not gained through your profession - at least not, IMO, in the financial realm. One needs purpose aside from your profession.
Is this a trick question?
I'd love to see a therapist to attempt to ensure im happier, but just don't know what to talk about.
No
No and i think i might be happier in banking 🤣
