Got the interview done today with HCL Technologies technologies. When I was asked what’s your expectation, I said 75%. The interviewer said can’t give more than 10-15% as it’s the market standard for PM. On top of that, I was told that I should be working on Au/Nz time zone only, non-negotiable. I said, thank you good bye.

This package thing has become a headache for me. I cannot concentrate on learning anymore. I always feel less paid. By seeing other people getting very high package.
I was very happy in college, was building apps that were listed on many sites. I felt really great. Had a goal to build a saas app.
Now it's always me comparing my ctc with other folks. Not able to enjoy anything.
When i learn something, I always think if i can make any money out of this skill.
My learning game is fu*ked cause of this comparison thing. Whenever my package increases, I start to desire more.
For this reason,all those who discuss package with me, i stopped speaking to them. Even though i am earning pretty good, feel a negativity around this money discussion. Kuch log ko show off karna jada imp lagta hai... and i dont blame them, its kind of nasha. Jab utrega, ab tab baat hogi. Tab tak, i am content and very happy.
Money has no limits, ambanis are still working and trying to earn more. Thats the beauty of money, one always wants more
