Are you really an audit manager if you don’t let your stress levels go off the charts and then take it out on your staff/seniors.

My company is adopting Scrum and hiring a bunch of agile coaches to assist with sprints. We got assigned our agile coach that'll be starting soon.

I read a description of what this role is supposed to be for and it sounds like they'll be leading Scrum ceremonies. So they run the planning meeting, the retrospective and daily stand ups. Up to now, I've been doing those and it's taken a total of like 2 hours a week of my time.

What on earth do agile coaches do with the other 95% of their time?

Why do I as a staff have to explain how basic bookkeeping works (i.e. accruals) to people who have had twice as much audit experience? Does auditing really make you this out of touch?

I would say my least favorite part of audit is when senior managers change the format of your workpapers to make it more fancy format wise and show you did more work than was needed.. But don't actually do the work documented and then you have to resolve the partner review comments pointing this out 😅 you da real MVP!
