Yes. Had it in December and it sucked, especially brain fog which lasted weeks.
Got it right now for the third time. Nearly a week in, this time it’s hit pretty hard. So tired all the time.
I was never afraid of COVID. I am afraid of loosing my freedoms because of COVID.
Late to the game here but unsure what everyone in this thread disagrees about? The principle of everyone having the right to decide what happens to their body is true for covid issues and roe v wade. It’s simple and it’s the same thing - everyone decides what’s best for their body and their life.

Afraid, no. Had it back in February felt like the common flu. Would I want it again, no, but would I ever want the common flu again, also no.
I work for a firm that doesn’t care if you catch COVID.
I guess I should be grateful that I have a job in this capitalistic world…but we only get one life, and do I want to die bc I had to survive financially?
I think I’m having my quarter-life crisis, but big hugs to everyone who is going through this…and to those who lost their friends & family members to this virus.
Socialism =\= communism.
I’ve had it twice and it was terrible. Others I know that are under 35 that have gotten it and it’s taken months to recover.
Not sure why people are dismissing the severity of it when it’s not just about dying but the fact is you might not recover for months
Agreed. I recently got it after successfully avoiding it for a long time. The actual week that I had it wasn’t too bad but I’m a month out and I still have random scary moments where I feel like I can’t catch my breath.
No. Because I'm not a coward and I don't believe what the fake news, the globalist organizations, and the drug companies tell us. Proudly unvaccinated.
Lol. OK. My tinfoil hat is on!
I wouldn’t say I’m “still afraid” of catching Covid, but I’ve heard of way more people getting it in just the past 2 weeks - 2/6 people on my team have it right now - so now I’m going to have to be much more careful visiting immunocompromised family members. I also find when people ask if you’re “afraid,” they usually are being more political than genuinely concerned. People who are genuinely curious usually regard mask wearing/social distancing as caution, not fear.
Most mask lovers don’t wear N95s.
Cancer survivor and lifelong asthmatic. Even getting regular ol’ bronchitis puts me down for ages. So, yeah, I’d still like to not get COVID now and forever.
You can’t answer my question, wherever you work?
Yes. I'm looking my life as normally as possible. But out of consideration for others, especially the high risk folks in my life, I'm taking every precaution possible. I am still very much avoiding large public places/events and working from home. Also, I have some chronic health issues that put me at risk. And with how expensive health care is? No thanks on the virus. I have avoided it all this time and I'll continue to be careful for as long as it takes.
😂😂😂
No I literally don’t give 2 fucks anymore and the people that do (unless they have serious health issues or older) literally have a mental disorder at this point. I understand early on but now we know it’s mild. Go enjoy your life
Just got through it recently. It completely sucked - out of commission for a week, and still having some lingered effects. Family and extended family also got it at the same time and F’d everyone up. All because someone who wasn’t feeling well (headache, sore throat as it was reported later) decided to not stay home, and instead be around folks. Oh, and we’re all vaxed and boosted. So yeah, not looking to get sick again with this shit.
Chief
Same symptoms. Not vaxxed. Go figure.
Yes absolutely, even if I'm boosted. But still I'm terrified
You terrified. That’s what they want.
Never was. Was not a sheep who was told to be scared of my shadow.

Bahhhhhh 🐑
Negative. Don’t want it, but not fearful.
Not afraid but def concerned. My friend just got covid. My parents are old and sick, I can’t risk it
I’m still dealing with the results of having it in 2020. My spouse and I are committed to continuing to keep our risk low.
Nah. Wouldn’t even know if I did, because I’m not taking their stupid test and getting locked up for two weeks.
Fortunately I obeyed The Science and accepted the JNJ shot into my life, so I’m immune anyway. (Or so I was told when it was sold to me, anyway)
JNJ…good one.

Afraid? Nah, not for myself and I don’t live with anyone high risk. But concerned and taking precautions to avoid it? You bet. I am marathon training so I don’t want lose the momentum I’ve got and have to take time off training for a bit (and god forbid I have long haul symptoms that slow me down for longer).
Plus who wants to get sick and/or spread it?? No thanks lmao
TD 1 lol I felt that in my soul. Belated congrats on the marathon, hope to join you in the marathon club soon!
I got covid and it was just like a cold. Nothing crazy
Yes, I am immunocompromised because of ongoing cancer treatment. Whether you are afraid or not of getting COVID, please keep in mind that there are lots of folks out there who are at high risk even though they are vaccinated and boosted. (And there is still no vaccine for kids under 5.). So, as a courtesy, please mask up on planes, other public transportation, and anywhere where lots of people are packed into an indoor space. It’s not “living in fear” to do that, but rather basic human decency.
I’ve managed to avoid it, but I’m less afraid of getting it for me, and more for the immunocompromised friends and the older family.
I know someone who was purposefully given it by his roommate (who was asymptomatic and didn’t tell my friend he had it and gave it to the friend to “prove it wasn’t that bad”) and he accidentally gave it to his grandmother who died and he is still having issues with his lungs. So that’s what scares me.
😥
I’m afraid plz shut down my small business/church while allowing Walmart/liquor stores to operate and force me to take a booster every 6mo’s to feed my family.
