Currently interviewing for a Data Engineer position at QuantumBlack and have practical skills assessment interview coming up. From what the recruiter told me, it looks like it’ll be focused on Python and PySpark. Any tips/guidance anyone can share? Thanks! QuantumBlack McKinsey & Company

That is all.
I send one anytime I interview with someone new. Even if it's through a recruiter, I'll ask to have it forwarded
Remember: it can't hurt if you send one, it can if you don't
Thank you! ☺️
You could definitely ask the recruiter for their email address and send a thank you! Never hurts.
I honestly have started saving my "thank you" emails for a few days after my interview, when I am kind of fishing for an update. I honestly don't think most people care about a thank you note at the end of the day. I noticed it when I was further along in my career and actually liked my jobs. I take interviews from time to time, but was not desperate, and oftentimes so busy with my current job and life that I would forget to send anything. What I discovered is that it never seemed to affect whether they wanted to move forward with me or not. I do try to send them when I have the chance or remember to, which is often a day or three after the interview. At that point, I think it serves as a great reminder for them to get those next steps/meetings booked. You can also email the recruiter with a message and ask them to forward it along. That way you're keeping the boundaries in tact.
