I think I got bitten by something on my flight today. Got a big red bump on my leg 😫 Frikkin Air Canada FML
Really need advice: United gurus...do I get the same amount of miles (PQM and normal miles) on flying Lufthansa vs United if I have a United account?
How is the FDD presence for BDO/GT/RSM FDD in the South/Southwest? How is the workload and compensation compared to the Big 4? Have heard that the mid-tier you get more exposure to the entire deal process, is this true as well? Any insight is appreciated.
AA Exec plat here. If I fly to Europe business class on a British airways operated flight, but I book with AA, do I get same miles than if it was operated by AA? Explanation online is unclear 😞
How long does it take for the 50k southwest pts to hit after spending the $2k on their card?
Hi fishes, Please help which ones better to join? Senior consultant at EXL services (banking project) OR Senior Data Analyst at United Airlines (audit)?
How does EY determine comp adjustment for internal move from one state to another? Do they typically help with relocation costs? I am moving from southwest (low cost of living) to Chicago.
Got 2017 Platinum on Delta with only 50k MQM and 44MQS. Already had platinum from "challenge" and my 2017 Status switched from Gold. 🤔
Right now, I have the Southwest Rapid Rewards card because a) when I fly the family, Southwest works best for us (but travel for work is AA). I have 500K+ SW points. Also Hilton Diamond with about 300K points (had more but just redeemed a bunch for a family trip). I hear about the Chase Sapphire Preferred, the AA Citi card that has a big annual fee but includes a lounge membership. My goals are being met (free or cheap travel for family trips), but I wonder if I'm leaving money on the table and could be getting more out of my points earnings. Any suggestions on what I should do differently or change with my strategy?
One perk of the Southwest system - when you're in A and there's someone who hasn't showered and is clearly on the not-fun-kind-of-drugs...Ill sit anywhere but that row please
Plane travel tip: Delta aisle seats usually have an arm rest that raises giving you more room. #bossstatus
That feeling when Delta has to apologize for its mediocre lounge and gives two $15 vouchers for nearby restaurants. Miserable day just got much better. Bring on the alcoholic milkshakes!
I need to get a new opportunity. Our company is now requiring to confirm whether you had been vaccinated or not and failure to disclose will result in 10% decrease in base pay.. Referral opportunities come now!!!
Watch the viral video of Delta kicking out two young American Muslims for speakin Arabic on the plane b4 take off. Some folks called the FA over stating they felt uncomfortable after hearing it.. WTF!
The woman next to me on this delta flight is sitting Indian style and barefoot... why aren't you?
Is the delta outage effecting the app also? It signed me out and I can't even sign in to check my flight status
Hey guys! I am looking for recommendations for a credit card specifically for travel perks/points. I prefer flying with the OneWorld carriers like AA, Alaska, BA, Finnair, QR, etc. Appreciate any input.
Anyone used the Manhattan Prep GMAT Coaching session while taking the Manhattan Prep course?
Who’s pulling for Carlos this weekend?🙋🏻♂️
So the best/worst happened and my green card was approved the day after I left the US on a month long trip. I have a valid L1 stamp and a fresh 797 that I was planning use to extend my expired i94. I am able to have the green card mailed to me (as lawyers have advised) but seems so crazy that’s the best option rather than explaining at the border. I am in a country with a slightly dodgy customs/postal system. Any thoughts? My back up right now is paying someone’s airfare to bring it to me.
What benefit would you like to see implemented in your firm/company due to the pandemic? How about WFH forever. No mandatory going back to the office.
I just received my PSM-I cert. I am currently a BA now and looking for jobs now. I wanted to know how this cert could positively impact my career and salary. What jobs I can start looking at or should I stay in the BA field?
How do you hold friends accountable when they’re often late? I have a friend who’s chronically late and it drives me nuts. I’m a pretty laid back person but in New York, appointment and reservation times mean something. It ends up putting me in an annoying situation where I am waiting around or trying to hold a table / appointment. How can I bring it up without turning it into a big deal?
CCP China has been raised as a much worse real threat to the world. But it’s worrying me that still many people have no idea about CCP China. CCP treats its own people worse than animals. It’s confident that CCP can do anything that people can never imagine to its people in order to maintain its own power. Facts prove again that CCP has never changed from Mao’s killing most people in 20th century. Through intensive brainwashing aided by high tech, CCP has been using the brainwashing machine to
Massive amount of my NW is in tech investments & crypto.... this is extremely painful. Like about 2 to 3 years of earnings just evaporated. 😔
I’ve been working from home for the last 3 years 🤷🏻
Curious what professional growth looks like within Google. Is leadership actively involved and (substantively) supportive? Or is it primarily/fully self-created?
I’m hiring a Senior Technical Recruiter and TA Sourcer, both are fully remote positions. We’re a digital health startup, with an excellent team and well rounded package. Please reach out if you’re interested!
I’m seeing a lot of LinkedIn posts from Big4 interns who just completed their virtual internship. It’s like they’ve won an Academy Award. It is hilarious and at the same time 🤢. How is a 2 week virtual internship a life-changing experience? Is it worth the gushy thanks of support to everyone on their “journey”? I can’t stand LinkedIn.
Anyone know what comp is for associates at PE firms on the portfolio ops side? Ex. Bain Cap, KKR capstone. Specifically asking about the portfolio guys NOT the investment guys.
I currently work hybrid, have 2 kids, a nanny, and a husband who works long hours. Because we are moving out of state, I was offered a FT remote position. I am not sure I want to accept the offer or look for a position that is in person. I did the remote work for a year and half, 5 days a week. I'm just not sure if I would want to work from home all week. For context, I would not have to pay state taxes, I am moving to a cheaper cost of living, wouldn't need a nanny, and salary would not change.
Hey fishes, I absconded Amdocs on my 2nd working day due to a family emergency. Informed my reporting manager and TL about the same. Now the HR is calling me daily and asking me to complete the resignation formalities. They even called my emergency contact. Any idea what the formalities are as I can't serve any notice period since I've already joined another firm. Also as I have absconded can't they simply just blacklist me and move on?

Just passed my PMI ACP exam on the first try!! Super pumped about being an official scrum master, interested in advice on best ways to secure a role. So far I’ve updated my resume, my LinkedIn profile and job preferences, indeed, careerbuilder and monster. Anything else I need to know about getting a role?
