Hi folks, I had a quick question around remote work. My office is in San Francisco but I worked remotely from NJ for clients on the WC. How should I answer the question, “did you earn income working remotely by providing the services in a different state than the state you originally engaged employment with it”? If it matters, I never set foot in CA.

Moving to LA next year. Don’t know the market much. I’ll be working near The Grove, commuting 3 times a week to the office. My SO WFH. We have a friend who wants to rent with us and a very large dog. Max $6k for 3 bedrooms. Safety is important to me so I want gated at very least.

Worst part about WFH is that staff (specifically new hires) feel totally emboldened to not ask for work. It’s not really their fault, but still.

I put in my two weeks a while ago and this Friday is my last day. No one has reached out to me about coordinating equipment return (I’m remote rn) or off boarding me.
