Do the math. Assuming it's a toilet used by men and women. Women sit 100% of the time. Assuming only 1 out of every 10 trips a man takes he has to sit, that still means that when you leave there is a 55% chance the next person will need to sit on it. (this also assuming the population using the toilet is 50% male 50% female) Leave the lid down.

@K2: Math, shmath! Have you never heard of financiers and (what is the name of the eleven-letter word of those somewhat quirky folks...oh yeah!) accountants? They 'math' all the time, and can make ANYTHING look like something else...like it's their job (or something).

I'll simply hire one of them so that they can manipulate the results to prove that women should be leaving the seat UP!

Plus...we're seriously arguing about the little bit of effort it takes to put the lid up or down?

There is a crisis of conscience though. I once had to go #2 at the client site and this staff level worker leaves the stall I'm about to go into and when he sees I'm going to use it he says "oh hold on I forgot to flush". He didn't go #2 though. He was just panicked because he'd been outed as the guy who leaves the seat down and pees all over it.

Hey! I am currently working as a Diversity, Equity & Inclusion consultant but looking to transition into DEI Program Management (or similar) for an organization. Iโ€™ve started getting some follow ups for jobs but unsure of a firm salary range. One organization said they were offering 92k which I thought was pretty low. (See the pic) This is something we all need to be aware of as we lead our teams, provide performance feedback, & model the behaviors we'd like to see more of on our teams. Be on the lookout for Attribution Bias in yourself & on your team. It's a hindrance to creating a high-performing, inclusive culture.

So I recently started a position with Fox. When it was presented to me in interview, I was told I would be working aligned with Fox Sports & Entertainment, not so much News. I started at a new firm this year in January. I had a billable goal that was given to me mid year of around 1750 house for the year. I am nowhere near that and definitely will not meet the goal.
