They have a head of cannabis tax or something like that. Cant be all bad.

Lots of great things!

lol you tell me

Heard good things about the firm.

Good things indirectly on a few occasions, but also directly with a senior whom I met during an unrelated alumni meeting. But I’m sure they are going to have issues of their own and some bad apples. It is a very small firm and probably not a lot you can find out online. Maybe just ask the recruiter to get you in touch with several employees and try your best to read between the lines.

Wish me luck...had final round at B4 firm at end of day Friday and hoping to hear some good news this week! Hard to stay focused on current project when that stuff is pending. The wait is terrible...

I’m leaving Big 4 as a S2 and my parents are disappointed that I’m giving up my full career potential... My counselor at the firm is also saying I’m selling myself short. Did anyone else feel (cont.)

Random thought... My gay male context plus the pandemic has amplified the "this isn't worth it" view of my unbalanced work life balance. I am never going to have kids and don't need to keep grinding for the next promotion etc. like my head of household peers with children. Do you feel the non-traditional household / income demands that LGBTQIA+ we live with are making you more easily say "enough is enough" with work as the valuation of our time has increased during the pandemic? 🤔

Any fish exit to something psychology focused? I/O psych or performance coaching? All insights helpful and appreciated!!

I am currently a senior consultant working as a Management Consultant (tech consulting) at a mid size firm and would love to be working as a product manager at a tech company (been in product for a few years at client), struggling to get interviews, been networking and applying to jobs and talking to people. Resume has been reviewed by multiple people as well. Any advice ?

Can someone explain the mental health benefits at EY ? I was told that one can get 20+ free therapy session a year.

How to decide between two offers when you are on H1B. What if I said no to other and my H1 transfer to the accepted position is rejected 😐.

Passed over for a promotion a third time, even after doing everything, and more, you’re supposed to? It’s time to GTFO

Started with EY as an intern, currently a Senior 2 moving to Senior 3 in Oct. Part of Indirect Tax in the New York Metro Area. Reviews and utilization are consistently above peer group average. CPA, no Masters. Currently salary is 77k. I feel like I’m underpaid compared to peers/others when I see threads on Fishbowl. Does this seem low to anyone else? I need a 17% raise to break 90k at Snr 3, which I’d be bummed to not get after EY preached about high raises. New job searching level bummed 😔.

EY I interviewed at your firm a year ago, and was rejected without much specific feedback. It felt like the Partner was actually trying to elicit information about my previous firm. I really like EY

After your first job, how relevant is GPA. For context, I went to a school that is very well known for grade deflation (Deloitte had a “suggested” minimum of 3.2 here) and I studied statistics, a particularly rough major at the school. Long story short, GPA was between a 2.9 and 3.0. This wasn’t due to slacking and I’ve done well at Deloitte so far with plenty of experience to speak to. Would my GPA still block me from certain firms, like any of the MBB firms or a Tier 2 consulting firm?
