As a Cloud Computing and Infrastructure major, I’m wondering if there is as large demand for my specialty in Tech consulting as in industry? Ultimately, consulting is where I want to be.

Thanks. I have internships and a little freelance. And I have plenty of certs as my degree requires them for grad.

like

That’s good news! Thanks :)

Thanks for the advice. I have CompTIA trifecta, AWS Cloud Practitioner, SA, Sysops and Azure Devops. Learning infrastructure as code on the side so picking up more container knowledge is probably a good move

Yes. There is big demand, however you need experience and certifications.

Not sure what certs you already have, but if you don't have certs in k8s or Open Shift, you should consider them. Especially if you can pair them with an Azure or AWS cert.

Hi folks, Has anyone joined a contractor project management role at Philips HIC Pune, R&D, LCM which has contract of an year. I have few questions: 1) chances that they ask you to leave, 2) metrics on which performance is measured? ( I have done best till now in my previous 3 roles) 3) salary range ( I have 4/5 YOE relevant experience with experience in IT)

Has anyone got bad or good experience

So, a recruiter gave me feedback that my lack SPHR or SHRM-SCP is causing my resume to be knock out by AI and human recruiters despite my position and work history in Multinationals and being in Technology. How do people network naturally? I’ve applied for numerous software engineering intern positions, but I have yet to move past applying. I know networking is key, but I just feel awkward and in a way “dirty”… like I don’t want to feel too pushy or impede on people’s time to get into tech. Could someone offer any advice on how to word a message that sounds natural and sincere? I’m looking to get in contact with both recruiters and people already working in positions that I’d want.

So, I’m going to purses Masters in Business Analytics form a “not so reputed” university in the US. My profile says I attend UTA but I’m transferring to another university due to some unforeseen circumstances. Had connected to some alumni of that university and asked about the overview of the program and it concludes that courses aren’t up to the mark. However, I have worked in the domain before and know how to use some analytical tools. What should be my plan now to get a job in next 20 months?

How to get better in interviews? I am a foreign-attorney and a current law student (rising 2L). I am in the top-third of my class, Hispanic woman, years of legal experience, and made law review. I always receive tons of compliments during my interviews, but they don’t result in call backs. Some interviewers are truly interested in my personal story, but seem like they were not planning to hire me from the beginning. What can I do? I am terrified of not getting a 2L SA.
