Depends on where you live.
^this. Always this.
They all suck. Choose direct flights.
Anything but American.
Delta.
Nicer seats.
Also. Local hub.
I am in DFW so have to choose AA, but if I were in a Delta hub I would go with them.
Same
I prefer delta, but effectively end up splitting between united and delta as I’m based on the west coast. May eventually just double down on united. Imo, delta>united >>>>>>>> American
American points I found them most valuable of the 3, especially internationally.
At everything else Delta rules

They are. Sky Pesos are a joke.
United because Star Alliance airlines are what I use to travel to visit my family and what is most convenient for vacations
Star alliance is the best and United has the best point redemption
American. Points are most valuable internationally.
Booked one way Business on JAL from JFK-HND for me and my GF for 120K miles + $13 total.
United/Delta points can’t match that.
United regularly has business Polaris seats for 70k if you are flexible with dates. I just booked one to Greece from chicago
Rising Star
Delta, even though I’m not in a Delta hub. Connecting flights on Delta are still better than nonstops on AA or United. Better seats, better upgrades, way better customer service.
Hell no
This largely depends on here you live. I could never gain status with delta where I live.
Our city is an American hub and I love them. Reading these comments is making me question myself?!

Out of DC United has so many direct flights so I have that card for now. American is my absolute favorite though.
I’m stuck at a UA hub. So I “choose” UA.
Not UA especially if you don't want to be dragged out of the plane lol
If you aren’t NYC I’d likely pick based on your nearest airport being a hub. For example I’m out of detroit —> therefore delta
None of those. Plebians fight for status on all three of those airlines. Either southwest/avelo if you want to save money or JSX if you want to charter jet to your clients.
Depends on where you live. My airport’s traffic is about 15% American, 15% Delta, and 15% United, and then a bunch of Southwest and others. At that point it’s about connecting airports and how valuable the points are worth. I chose United because O’Hare is great for me and the other hubs are well positioned, plus the miles redemption is pretty decent
United
Although I prefer Delta and their SkyClub lounges, it has been pretty annoying having to always make the stop at ATL from the airport I have next to me. Otherwise it’s a 4 hr drive to ATL. I’ve been flying less Delta after moving here. Be aware that a lot of places, Delta included, are having big issues with delays and staff shortages. They all kinda suck right now.
Are there any other options? All three are major disaster when it comes to customer service.
