As a female, is it worth it to just do barre, pilates, strength training? Or do you absolutely need to do cardio? I love long walks but can't bring myself to slave on the treadmill.

Walks kinda do fall under cardio so you should be fine.

As a human, male or female, you do not need cardio in isolation. Cardio, by definition, is about getting your heart rate up. Plenty of ways aside from the treadmill to do so. Including the ways you said you already do.

Barre from what I hear from others can be hard! I do it twice to 3 times a week so, I don’t notice much but one of my barre studios adds cardio into barre workouts so, you could try that route. If your city has “The barre code” studio they always switch out their routines so some days more stretching, some days more cardio.. most days so much burn! I feel more toned than ever after religiously doing barre lol

Been having trouble moving on since girlfriend ended relationship 3 weeks ago after 2+ years of dating. Before ending it she came over 3 weeks prior to basically give me a chance to work things out and we had a good discussion but then I went back into our routine and didn’t really fight for it or have serious follow up convos that we needed. Now I just have so many regrets that I let her go. I know we still love each other and left on “good” terms but can’t forgive myself for my lack of action.

If you guys have an Apple Watch and used to go to HITT classes and strength classes at the gym, Apple fitness plus ain’t that bad. Good for rowing and treadmill too. Definitely recommend it if you prefer to workout at home or at your apartment gym.
