As a first year in big law, what should I expect from my review? Aside from being open to constructive criticism, is there anything else I should be doing/looking out for? How important is the first review you have at a firm typically? I’ve already read my reviews and there weren’t any negative comments/red flags (I don’t know if they would even include them if there were?), but I want to make the most of it.

Anybody else feel unworthy of this career? When it comes to stack rankings I’m generally in the top 50% of reps at companies I’ve worked for. On good years I’ll get into top 20%.

It seems every sales job posting is looking for people who have blown out their number every single year. I just don’t see how this is even possible, I’ve worked plenty of places where they gave us an unachievable target so nobody hit their number in a given year.

I lost a baby at full term pregnancy (no genetic cause) and we are ready to plan for a second one. I am wanting to go through IVF because the genetic testing would rule out any bad surprises that could come later and also my husband and me are carriers for AMD. I am lost where to even start from. Would I need a referral for IVF? Will I be paying all the cost? My husband’s company has a plan but I don’t know if we would need to qualify?

Know for a fact I do not want to do litigation after one year. Want to try transactional work because I eventually would like to go in house. Firm reluctant to move me around right now because there’s a lot of work in litigation.
