As a manager of a restaurant, how is it best to address parents with screaming babies/children given that it is not a kid-encouraged establishment? The parents were oblivious to proper etiquette and other guests complained making the parents of the screaming baby wildly offended. How does management appease all parties? Or is it best to protect the masses?

Starting an IVF cycle shortly; and feeling very anxious. My period, which is usually within 25-28 days hasn’t started yet. It is 14 days late (and no, I am not pregnant :). My doctor had me patching 4 estrogen patches everyday for 10 days.

I’m struggling with an issue with a student right now. I teach in a suburban school outside of NYC that has a very large majority of white students. In Iowa, there is no Overtime pay mandate, the overtime pay is at the discretion of the business. I received 58.6 hours of base pay for the week.

If the company makes less than $1 million per year or does not engage in intercontinental sales, the company is not required to pay the overtime rate of time and a half, just your base rate.
