See if you can find some old CFA L1 materials. It would be a good primer on the basics and you should be able to get it from somewhere like eBay for pretty cheap

^100% agree. I was a humanities major and got into private banking, got through levels I and II and now am in a portfolio management role with additional confidence that’s come with a more in-depth understanding of some fundamental quantitative concepts. I highly recommend familiarizing yourself with the CFA material, or just shooting to obtain the designation if you can commit.

Have a look at your firms learning portals for bond fundamentals and derivative fundamentals types of trainings.
This also helps with the language your firm uses for these risks and products.

CFA makes sense esp if you have a learning-driven mentality. It becomes easier to succumb that way. Also, surround yourself with motivated BO peers
