As a SM/Director at Big 4, the typical exits to industry are Director or VP level roles. What are your thoughts on a Chief of Staff level role/exit at a T2 tech company? The opportunity for this role is direct access to the C-suite and the Board, reporting directly to the C-level exec. This role (hopefully) is not a glorified EA but was communicated to me to have a lot of responsibility and visibility. Thoughts? What TC would make sense?

Can anyone let me know how easy it is to apply to a consulting firm in Dubai directly coming from London? I am currently working at a T2 strategy firm in London and my partner and I want to relocate in ~1.5 years. My firm does not have an office in Dubai whilst my partners firm does. So, a recruiter gave me feedback that my lack SPHR or SHRM-SCP is causing my resume to be knock out by AI and human recruiters despite my position and work history in Multinationals and being in Technology. They suggested that we put SPHR ( Lapsed). I let it lapse in 2017. What is your opinion? Plus if I were to take another certification - should I take SPHR or SHRM-SCP?

Hi everyone - I made it to the final round of interviews with Amazon for a Program Manager position. They initially asked if I would relocate and at the time I said yes - however, due to my husband’s new job I’m no longer able to relocate.

Have interviews set up at FAANG co and getting good signals, for a position that was posted widely (all across US) but not remote. Haven’t broached the subject of location yet. Would you (1) early on clearly state that you’re not open to relocation but that you would be open to visiting a big office once or twice a month; (2) not say anything now and wait to get an offer and ask for an exemption; or (3) something else?

Mid-level associate at a mid-size regional insurance defense firm practicing coverage litigation. Salary is capped b/c my firm only does I.D./coverage and has no direct-hire comm clients. Second round of interviews with a comm lit boutique where I would be the only associate with 5 partners.
