In my comp plan, there is legal print that states: "CHANGES: To the extent permitted by law, the ICP, and any assigned quotas, targets, territories, accounts, incentive rates, multipliers, caps, bonus amounts, or any other element affecting or defining incentive pay are subject to change or discontinuation at any time (prospectively or retroactively) at [company name]'s sole discretion without prior written notice, even after sales efforts have been undertaken with respect to a particular cust."
Offer depends mostly on location. But for someone so young, 68k is a great deal if you ask me.
I also think that it is above the minimum. Your experience in accounting will be useful if you want to pursue a career in software sales. I think becoming an expert in a specific field takes some time but it's definitely doable especially in your case.
Try to get into fintech with your accounting background. You can definitely make it happen if you are willing to work your way up
That is not a bad start off salary at all.. is that base and OTE i suppose?
I think that is a fair offer for that role. Depending on your YOE you may be able to negotiate a llittle higher.
Not a good salary especially for sales. You should be in the 100K range. 60k is more aligned with retail sales
I think this is a great opportunity considering it a entry level role and Europe
Where are you located? It depends on what you see your career path being like.. and if that is a good salary for where you are from
It‘s in germany. 68k is definitely top tier entry level salary. I just fear that i will not become an „expert“ compared to if i would drop into some Finance/accounting area
Thanks a lot for your answears! Base salary is around 65k and 3k is bonus when reaching targets (high probability).
Based on this it is a very good offer in my eyes..
