Anyone invited to interview R2 at LBS but haven’t been matched with your interviewer yet? I know it can take up to 2 weeks but the anticipation is killing me!
Under trump tax plan: earn 120k, pay 33% taxes, net pay is 80k. Earn 112k, pay 25%, net pay is 84k. Approaching a salary bump, what would you do?
Teacher, I need help …. When you see, out of compliance IEPs, students not getting FAPE, treated differently for integration from their peers… who helps you? Union won’t, parents are not even involved with their child so that’s not a help, I emailed all the possible emails for Department of Ed , and all those listed under IDEA/ADA… I don’t know what else to do…
Help me choose between these offers: €105k TC corp strat SM at a DAX company in Germany in a LCOL but nice city. €7.5k signing bonus + relocation. Culture is pretty good, pay should go up to €130k+ within a couple of years. $200k base M at B4 in Chicago. The culture is the culture. $25k signing bonus. Long-term, I'd rather live in Germany, but I have a personal network in Chicago from business school so either is fine in the short-term. Thanks for your input.
Do any other firms offer pension like EY does? And what are the terms? I know EY recently changed the retirement plan but we are still fully vested after 5 years
Had a lateral “screener” interview for an AmLaw 100 firm in May with 2 partners and was ghosted (but never given a formal rejection). I received a call two weeks ago asking me to interview, with HR stating that they were looking to make additions & wouldn’t string someone along. I had my callback with about 5 people and am now being asked to meet with further people. Is that normal?
How would you communicate the involuntary termination of a team member at a startup? Typically, I handle these communications by having the manager have an informative session immediately after the termination to the employee's direct team and the news rapidly spread. However, as this is such a small team it may cause confusion and concerns for the team that stays. I feel like there isn't an "ideal" way to communicate involuntary terminations, but happy to hear your advice
Given the highly-vocal contingent of Accenture-tagged anti-vaxxers on this app, I’m surprised to see Accenture adopt a vaccine requirement. Consider me impressed.
Folks who have gotten jobs with consulting firms through recruiting agencies… would you recommend going through the agency or just applying directly to the consulting firm?
Any other creatives sick of being strategists?
4th year litigation associate in Houston. Big firm on Cravath. Looks like I’ll cap out around 2100 hours YTD; hour requirement is 2000. I’ve received half of COVID bonus (expect other half to come end of year). Been receiving good feedback from partners and senior associates. What can I expect for discretionary year end bonus?
Fresh thread for a rate check amongst us producers? I want a raise but think agencies will scoff. At $1200 and want to bump up to $1300. 17 yrs broadcast/video, some awards, agency, brand and post experience.
A new hire at my client is a girl I hooked up with back in college. It was really awkward when the controller introduced her to me.
What’s the base salary for Strat Consultant (L9) with 3 YOE at Accenture London? Looking to relocate but need to know I’d be able to live comfortably.
