As account managers, establishing and reaffirming client expectations is a huge part of our jobs (Or at least mine). From the Client side, what is your experience with an AM correcting expectations after an AE said we could do something that we couldn't quite do?

Obviously better internal syncs need to happen, but how does the client see that? any personal experiences?

Here’s some unsolicited advice for junior account folks: turning on your camera with your team and ESPECIALLY upper level management is a good thing, and still counts as “face time”. We’ve noticed that the more senior a call, the more faces we see. Be a leader, show up, and turn your camera on.

Any Account folks work on commission? I’m exploring roles and got an offer I was excited about at a creative agency that has a commission model - which I’ve never encountered. Any clues to what’s fair / common / pros / cons much appreciated.
