As an interventionist, I work with many grade levels and students. Looking for the best way to document data and information along with how to share the information with classroom teachers & parents.

I have 12 different groups I see ranging from k thru 5. The easiest way for me to share data is my clipboard. I have all the standards listed that I am working on and keep track of small formative assessments on it. When I discuss progress with the classroom teachers I have the exact standards and exit slips to show the teachers. Yes I use google classroom, seesaw and create shared folders but this way works best for me. My clipboard is always with me so I can make notes on lessons as well

Use a data base where the Program and duration are recorded Meet with grade level teachers to review and assess methodology Do progress monitoring and then review what is happening Keep the groups manageable

I started using Google Forms to take notes on my students. I’m able to give other people like my para permission to use the form to add their own notes. The information goes into Google Sheets from which you can sort however you want. All my data goes in one place. As an interventionist you could either share a form with the teachers you work with or just share the Google Sheets data. Hope this helps!

You can also try this. Create a google form that not only records to a spreadsheet but also records into a Doc. https://youtu.be/ntv7OUz7cnY

Google forms is a great way to gather and share data. You create a form to gather the data you need. You can share the form with other teachers that can take data as well. Forms also will generate charts to show progess. It will also put your information into a spread sheet. it really is the easiest way to gather and share data. Plus it saves paper!

I worked at a middle school where we piloted taking ALL of our IEP data via Google Forms. It cut my work time on data considerably. I don't think I could do it any other way now.

We started state testing today with my kiddos taking their FSA Writing. It is the first time I have seen them in school as they are a digital class, and such an amazing experience to see them together as they talked amongst themselves before we went to the classroom to test. You can see how much they miss being together. ❤

I wrote a rec letter for one of my legal assistants for law school right before COVID got bad and we all started working remote. Ever since then, this assistant has seemingly been slacking. There’s only so much I can actually see/review without seriously micromanaging her. I’ve spoken to her about her slacking at least twice and both times she just brushed it off. I want to withdraw my rec letter, but I feel like it’s too late. She is leaving at the end of the summer. Should I just let it be?
