But there's one thing that's been bothering me: it's hard to get feedback on my work when I'm not in the office. It would be great if there was some kind of system that let me know how my performance was being evaluated while I'm working on projects from home.

Help me make a final decision between Mck and BCG. Are these points valid :
Mck Pros over BCG - One firm culture (big), global staffing (big) , better internal processes?, better brand, better exit opps
BCG Pros over Mck - Slightly higher pay (negligible), closer network.
Role equivalent at both : Junior associate for Mck and Senior associate for BCG. Both 1+ yrs below MBA equivalent level
