Be very patient no matter what the customer says, while trying to change the situation by trying to get the customer to stop being upset.

No matter what the situation is, always be professional and courteous when responding to customers. Thank them for their feedback, even if it's negative, and try to find a solution that meets both of your needs. Be sure to follow up with the customer after you've addressed the issue to make sure they're satisfied.
