I had my first technical round of interview as Sr. Android developer with Tech Mahindra and It went well. How long does it take to know about the result. Also how many rounds are there? The interviewer refused to say his name nor he appeared on video in the interview. Is that the company policy? Tech Mahindra

Hi ladies!
I have my video interview with Liberty Mutual tomorrow for a licensed customer service role. Oddly, this morning I get an invitation to interview with Farmers for a claims customer service associate. I know the salary for the LM role, but not the Farmers role. Does anyone have experience with either? They are both great companies and I want to make sure I’m planting my feet with the right one. Thank you!Liberty Mutual Insurance Farmers Insurance Group

Well then I guess public accounting better start paying better.
A lot of the people who will be hired will be processors/help desk coordinators who most likely will not have an accounting degree. Maybe an associates degree if we are lucky. I’m more concerned if the talent pool the IRS is looking at is more low skilled or just not caring, which still harms tax administration.
When I was an admin, my coworker with no college degree would introduce herself as an auditor because she “audited” the receipts submitted for reimbursement.
Yes you are mistaken. This isn’t even remotely true. Stop getting your news from memes

I have no idea how they are going to hire that many auditors.
They’ll be hiring the same people Woodstock 99 hired for security. Get ready for some wild audits.
Trade deductions for meth. You’ll make up the taxes by moving weight.
Pay for PA would be better. I could be wrong, but I think since the IRS would be a federal position you could “retire” after 25 years of service if not yet 50. At that point you could pivot to anything. Similar to military members who serve for 20 ish years, retire at 40 and then go work other jobs.
As a relatively recent college grad, no one I know is looking to work at the IRS lmao. And I think PA definitely pays better
If you don’t make partner at a Big 4 it isn’t worth it? What a ridiculous statement t. Get over yourself.

I think you’d be surprised but the folks working tax compliance in PA don’t make a whole lot more money compared to experienced GS13-14 agents excluding bonuses. Exceptions might be exp directors and above. If broken down on an hourly basis, I’m betting agents actually make more considering they only are obligated to work 40 hour weeks.
LB&I Rev agents who generally engage in the audits of large business generally come in at a GS13. They typically will have a higher education degree etc and external experience. Depending on your location can start a low six figs but if you come from PA you can negotiate for a higher amount. Sure salary growth will be slower but again tax compliance folks are not miles ahead.
I’m not saying the 87k will consists of all LB&I and there will prob be low wage jobs as well. But to generalize there will not be attractive paying jobs is not entirely accurate.
I do agree with the above. You will be working 40 hours per week and if you work over and it’s approved then it’s 1.5x your hour. Plus you can negotiated a flexible arrangement where you can work 4 days per week at 10 hours rather than 8x5. Obviously if someone has super high aspirations then government isn’t for them but if all they want to be is middle class then the IRS at level 13-15 can be quite comfortable.
IRS only has 80000 employees now and a huge % (over half) is eligible to retire in the next few years. This is simply false to get a rise out of people.
