Someone should make a candy brand called "reds," where the candy concept is like Mike and Ike's, but they're all red, and the reds are different flavors, like cherry cola, strawberry, sour cherry, raspberry, cinnamon, watermelon, peppermint, bubblegum, and more... And then they could make a "greens" version, a "blues" version, orange, etc.

My boss does this thing where he'll give comments like, "make sure you include the proper language regarding X." As if we always include X and I'm an idiot for not including X.

When asked if X is a new development in the law, he'll say something like "no its not new, it's something we always do." But then I if I go look at his past drafts, he didn't include X either and only started in the past couple drafts.

Why can't you just say, "I have some new language that I want to start including"?

Is carbon steel supposed to look like this? I’ve seasoned, reseasoned, wash with mild soap and water, dry it over the stove, avoid cooking acidic foods in it and it still looks like this. It used to be way blotchy before but it has gotten darker on the bottom and has gradually moved its way up.

I don’t know if I’m doing it right. I’m used to the black patina of cast iron.

Tres Leches Cake - Popular Latin American dessert. Also seems to be the cake of the day with good reason. It’s the perfect summer cake. This sponge cake is soaked in 3 different types of milk and has a bread pudding consistency. It is usually topped with whipped cream cherries or fresh summer berries. I find tres leches cakes too be overly sweet imo. This version cuts back on the sugar and condensed milk making it just right. .
