I was a marketing major that went into HR. I feel like I use those creative skills a lot with talent development and employee experience work. Especially when designing and launching new programs.
I would suggest moving into roles that allow you to do employee engagement, program management, or learning and development. I think this would allow to use your creative strengths.
Internal Communications could be a great mix. You get the HR piece with new policy rollouts, new initiatives, engagement, internal branding. and you can help develop the communication strategy. Depending on the company, it could allow you to be very creative. It’s marketing… but for employees!
Change management may be a good intersection of your skills.
You would fit into an employee branding role nicely. They’re not common, but a great mix of your skills

As I’ve evolved in my career, I feel that in the long run I would fit better in a more creative/strategic role rather than a stationary admin HR role. I could see myself presenting new programs for employees and piecing it all together as well as planning future projects for the company that would benefit the employee experience and culture as a whole.
You could always try something new and see how you like it. I personally love working in marketing. However, it took me a while to figure out that is where I wanted to be.
