As people start going back to the office/clients, I’m begging you, please stay home if you don’t feel well. I would have thought that was the one thing minimum everyone would’ve learned over the last year, but I guess not. Even if it’s not covid, there’s still no need to risk getting other people sick.

It’s wild!! A friend and I had plans this weekend and said “I have a head cold and scratchy throat but feeling a bit better. When you do want to meet up?” The answer to that was “not today” 🤷🏻‍♀️

I don’t think this is realistic. People can’t quarantine themselves every time they have the sniffles or allergies or a headache.

Gd1- not everyone in the world works a job like us where they can work from home. Lots of people do not have paid sick time and can’t afford to take a day off every time they have a mild cold.

For what it’s worth, this is now the standard in France. If you feel even a tiny bit sick, your kid stays home from school. No one wants to risk a contact case situation.

Looking for recommendations for a rear facing car seat that reclines well. Currently have a Nuna rava. My first was fine with it, but my 2nd (who is 1+) seems to get car sick and pukes on longer trips. She loves her nuna pipa infant seat though (basically lying down) and never gets sick in that. We're keeping her in the pipa for as long as possible, but I need to find a convertible option soon. Curious what other moms in similar situations picked.

What type of self help strategies do individuals actually find helpful when you feel burn out or stuck in a rut? Any books, apps, meditation, podcasts, etc, others find helpful? I've done therapy and it has definitely helped this past year with covid and a marriage separation, starting to feel like I'm making progress and want to keep up the momentum. Looking to see what type of self help others find actually beneficial and would love to use that to help others stuck in burn out too

Very specific question - Canadian and European spouse travelling to Canada from Europe. However, spouse’s ETA not approved. Embassy told us all we need is proof of marriage and my citizenship (CDN passport) to travel. Asked embassy about ETA and they said “we don’t have an answer you should be fine”. Anyone with experience dealing with this during COVID? Should we try and fly?

My sister and I are 29 and 31, respectively. I’m struggling with something that has irked me our entire lives. My parents pay for things like her dog’s medical bills, vacations and moving expenses. They always want to help. The problem is they’ve never offered to pay for those things for me, and I’ve never asked because I’m a fully grown adult and don’t want them to spend their retirement on us. She has savings and isn’t struggling financially. Why does this bother me so much?

(also posted on singles bowl but want ladies opinion) I slept over at my boyfriend's apartment for the first time and found a stash of Viagra and other ED medicines in his cabinet. We have only started dating recently and his "performance" has been hit/miss. Very confused on how to approach it with him. Should I even be with him or not? I am feeling like he lied to me about his medical condition and could have brought it when I had explicitly asked him about this.
