Thank you all for your patience. I do appreciate it. It turns out having a side project while running multiple proposals is a trifle challenging. That said. I’m posting a first subset of the rawish data. In all close to 500 people took the survey, but a majority were from the Big Four. Here is the data from Deloitte, EY, KPMG, and PWC. Insights to come! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/1lN6JrxQfvA_MC4XFZ38G0ppQkBuxRv9mf88Y8NE2X2U/htmlview

Hi All, I recently interviewed at Amazon and Google for software engineer and passed both interviews. I have an offer on the table from Amazon but with Google I am officially in team matching and my recruiter tells me that the queue is pretty backed up now and it can take a long time. My question is should I take the Amazon offer now or decline Amazon and hold out for Google? I have heard that Google has better wlb/benefits. But I'm scared to decline Amazon without a guaranteed job offer.

All of the above, if I'm hearing it while I'm seeing it and doing it I'll learn it exponentially faster than if I only have one or the other
I'd I can't do all at the same time, then I'll probably pick physically doing it, I have 0 attention span when watching and 0 memory when listening, at least when I'm physically doing it I can focus / memorize things easier
Often when designing software solution, I think of objects in code (OOP) as boxes with things and references to other boxes. Pretty much an entity diagram, but in my head I sort of think of it in a 3d space as cardboard boxes ;)
