Help! Would it be wrong to leave a boutique after only 2-3 months for a big 4 offer? Higher position, higher salary, still FS. I feel bad because I don’t have that many complaints right now. Project is fine, my immediate colleague is great. But I am not really a fan of upper management. I just see much more pros at the big 4. Don’t know how to mention to my firm now.
Hey all - a recent grad (class of 21) really interested in an associate position at S& Deal Strategy. Found out there was an open position super late, so went ahead and reached out to alum. Have a chat for next monday, but I found out that the PwC national deadline was on Tuesday. Asked alum if it was a hard deadline and he said to apply whenever. Ended up applying on Tuesday in fear that the apps would close, but might have shot myself in the foot. Any advice on how to proceed? Strategy&
What is the highest Average salary that an accountant with a CPA generally caps out on in HCOL?
I’m 4 rounds into the interview process for an Assistant Controller position in SoCal. For the next round, I’ll be meeting with the Controller, Accounting Manager, and 5 other junior accounting staff. I’ll have 30 minutes to explain a month-end close task (of my choice) to the accounting team. Also, I’ll have to analyze a random reconciliation and explain improvements that can be made. I’m just a 2nd year manager, so I’m getting so nervous, and any insight or tips would be appreciated!
New AWMA... curious to know what a reasonable salary expectation is and what the growth looks like for an associate within a growing ensemble. For context, background is more analytical, taking CAIA level 2 in a couple weeks, then plan on pursuing CFA.
Anybody work at Amazon? Are their offers negotiable? My husband got an offer for a senior position in the VA office paying $120k plus $20k bonus plus 13 shares of stock that vest over 4 years. My husband has ~6 years of experience (2 yrs midsize PA plus various industry roles) so the senior title is low but have heard you have to take a step down in title to work at Fortune 25 companies. He likes the offer but not sure if he should negotiate for more because it’s expected?

If I leave and company pursuits the payback what does that typically look like? Lump sum due the day I turn in my keys? Payments over time? Trying to understand what to expect as part of considering new opportunities.

However, within the first few weeks I suffered a major medical setback which led to a crippling bout of depression. I am finally starting to feel like a person again but I'm afraid the ship has sailed on my having success in my new role.
I have left Deloitte after accepting another offer ( waiting to start the new role and taking time off between) . Now another dream role reached out to me for an interview. Should I tell them I am no longer with Deloitte if the HR asks? They had my old resume. Has anyone been though this situation? My main dilemma is I don’t know what to say why I left the job since the main reason was the new offer.

i just had an excellent review with my supervisors. we are aligned i am ready to be promoted. i will be moving from project manager to senior project manager. the catch; my company has laid off 75% of its staff, and cut our salaries by 25%. timing is unclear, since we work in the live entertainment space. what is fair to ask for? i have 7 years work force experience, am the only one in my position, touch every creative deliverable the agency makes, and updated and streamlined 10+ processes.

It appears their new credit card will take the cash back you earn from purchases and auto invest in the coin (limited) of your choice. Seems intriguing but will admit I am a noob to the space
