Any good recommended books on how to build a scalable product and team? I'm looking for recommendations for two areas: 1) in general laying the groundwork in a startup to have the tools and especially processes in place to scale, and 2) tactical focus on building a SaaS project. I've been promoted into a management role from Dev roots, so need to learn more PM processes to be an effective manager in day job, plus would like to start building my own SaaS solution.
My band is BPO 1 & joined TCS in March 2020. I'm currently working as an analyst in a UK based IT service desk project (retail, CBO). my joining CTC was 5LPA & current is 5.6LPA. I got a B band in annual appraisal and wish to continue committing and contributing in the same way, infact more. Wanted to know whether I could grow career wise in the current setting even if I maintain good performance and ratings? Where can I logically see myself in the next 5 years? Both position wise & salary wise?

I work on an account that has not set management boundaries with our client. It feels like we’re a restaurant, where client is allowed to directly request whatever tasks they want anytime and everything is urgent. Theres a tendency to send “last minute requests” which are usually completed on time... which means I have to drop everything else in order to complete it. I’ve been told to even start working 1 hr before my working schedule... even though I find myself working overtime 1-2 hrs. HELP!
Where do I get Intel on certain projects in Deloitte.GPS... I am on bench, just came on board, and have been informed that I need to fill application to be staffed on project... when I try to access job application that internal resource had sent to me, I get two options.. One for functional tech lead for SCION project, Another labeled Consultant, M&C, general. ...how do I find out more what these are? I don't want to blindly get on a project for obvious reasons.
Project team is all traveling into my local city this week, meaning I've slept in this morning and spent almost 2 hours at the gym. It's going to be a good week
I have completed tr and hr in wipro, package negotiations are also completed. Today hr called me and offer will be released after client interview. What if client doesn't like me?
If you plan to leave your firm and your manager asks you why you're leaving, what do you say? I have a legitimate non-bridge-burning reason unrelated to comp or simply "big tech is better" reason. I have asked for more client facing exposure and haven't gotten it cause weird reasons, which was the factor that caused me to look for exits in the first place. But I'm not sure if I should bring this up. Should I just be vague and say "looking for a new chapter"?

Is there a polite way to tell a past client that you don’t want to meet him for coffee? No longer involved in his type of work and frankly he creeps me out
How would you answer the ‘tell me about a time you had a challenge with a colleague / had different ideas of a project but had to compromise / interpersonal challenge w/ a colleague’ question? I haven’t faced this situation in my short 2 year career 😅
I’m a national buyer (linear tv and digital video). I’d like to move client side or to a consulting firm (because it seems most clients use consultants to manage buying rather than doing it in house). In terms of going client side - I’m finding that most clients want people with digital or as opps experience and my video expertise is obsolete, anyone know of clients that look for video expertise? In terms of consulting - Which companies have people liked working with regarding buying matters?

If you hand in your two weeks exactly two weeks prior to a bonus payout, does that mean you still get your bonus on your last day? How common is this in consulting?
Joining McK in a few weeks. Got the invite to sign up for the green AMEX Corp card with the option to upgrade to Gold or Platinum. Is the Platinum Corp card worth the upgrade ($550/year)? The only real benefit I see is the lounge access. Thoughts? McKinsey & Company

Newish to the field <4 years but am producing more and higher quality work than multiple 10 + yoe data veterans combined . How to approach this conversation with your manager and how to not get stuck getting paid less than your worth because of your age and experience. Side note is I feel like this specifically applies to people in data analytics where deliverables are more important then slides.
What’s the campaign you most wish you could have worked on? Not just your favorite work, but the work that most closely resembles the work you wish you did, shared a voice with, or come back to for inspiration again and again? For me, it’s Droga’s Newcastle Brown Ale.
