I think your body type defines what style will look good on you rather than your ethnicity. I’ve never seen clothes on someone and thought that certain ethnicities won’t be able to pull it off. With maybe the exception of fedora. But that aside, I shop at Zara because I like their fit

Yea demographics don’t dictate style. Banana casual looks good on everyone

I like Banana Republic slim fits for work, Paige jeans for casual, and Nike everything for athleisure

Regular price is about $190 for the cut I like, but you can always catch them on sale for $80-140 at Nordstrom/Nordstrom Rack

Uniqlo is pretty good, especially since it's cheap too. Usually slim fit at any place fits the average Asian body type.

For Asians that care about fashion more, these are my recs: bespoke suits, cos, acne, John Elliott, European dress shoes (John kobb, meermin, septieme largeur etc), Japanese denim, Massimo dutti are all good starts.

Honest take: I avoid light greens and yellows because it makes me look hilariously yellow in skin tone. Other than that, I wear button downs and khakis every day except on stage

When you have shredded abs, everything looks great! Personal style? Deep v-necks and jeans on weekends.

Asian vin diesel. You don't need hair to be hawt.

Original Penguin and Armani Exchange make up more than three-quarter of my wardrobe.

V-neck tees and scoop-neck tank tops are my go-to looks.

Lululemon and Oakley for athleisure. I am 6’0” and 175 lbs.

J-crew for v neck t-shirts and stretch chinos.

CT for button down shirts and suits.

I like uniqlos fast dry options. Less laundry.

Haven’t but I’ll look into it.

I started a job 6 months ago that has been remote because of the pandemic, but eventually will be in office. I’ve changed my mind and want to be permanently remote. Do you think it’s too soon to change jobs or should I wait till a year?

I’m actively searching & looking for a new strategist position since my current agency is mismanaging not only myself but the relationship with the client. It’s a dumpster fire.

I’m wondering what questions I should look out for and be aware of as I find myself getting past the HR screens pretty quickly.

Also - if your agency is remote or LA based and hiring, feel free to let me know in the comments as well :)

Any advice on best approach to a casual convo about upcoming raise if any with annual review around the corner? Would be helpful to know what they are thinking. Is it ever helpful to let them know multiple opportunities have come through offering more too? What’s an appropriate way to share that information without sounding obnoxious and demanding?

My parents wants me to get married with a fellow ZSer coz you know right?
We both will have the same package, same company, same background(most probably) and same poor work-life balance. They think that this marriage will last longer and has higher chances of being successful. So, is there a Jeevansaath/Shaadi dot com for just ZSers? Think about it? It is a good idea plus no HR problem also 😛

I love my job and have been doing it for years. My Principal is good to me as well! The problem is...the Paraprofessionals at my school are never recognized. You have Teachers Day, Secretaries Day, Principal's Day, etc. Paraprofessional Day comes and goes at my school every year with nothing mentioned to us. Paraprofessionals in my department (Sped) wear many hats on certain days and work extremely hard (mentally/physical)! Does anyone else get this treatment?

Hello folks,
I am currently in my 2nd year of Computer Science at a Tier-3 college in Bangalore.
I have already started preparing with the goal of landing a product role in 2 years.
I have set a target of completing ~1000 leetcode problems within this time. Will it be sufficient? What other resources do you recommend?
Also, how to get interviews outside of college placements as a fresher?

Thanks

Been in international tax for almost 3 years. Having trouble seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. What are some jobs people in IT have moved on to do?

Hi 👋🏾 I’m a 25 F looking for a roommate for a 2 bed lease beginning late July/Aug 1. I’m looking at west loop, west town, river west areas but I’m open to others. Please DM me if interested and for more details!

I’ve been working in public accounting (audit) for a year and I don’t enjoy the work and don’t see myself in this position for much longer. I’ve been thinking about going into marketing but stuck on how to get started. I know I have no prior experience, but since I’m early in my career and with taking some courses/certifications (Google analytics, SEO, etc.) to boost my resume, I’m hoping to make the switch. Any advice on where to start, what type of marketing positions I would align with, etc?

Any suggestions of outdoor edible plants that don't typically get eaten by rabbits? My basil and chives have been successful, but everything else gets eaten by the rabbits (bok choy, Kale). I love in Dallas btw - so hot and dry in the summer. Winters are lowest at 20 degrees. Any season suggestions welcome!
