Your teeth will rot from the stomach acid, and you'll look like you have meth mouth.

like

The stomach acid will eat away at your esophagus and may cause permanent damage. You will not be getting all your vitamins and nutrients. Additionally, what S&1 said.

like

You'll also likely become dehydrated. And what everyone else said.

like

Stomach pain, very fragile skin and nails, fatigue, dehydration, electrolyte imbalance that can lead to irregular heartbeat.

like

Extreme exhaustion, swelling in hands/feet/legs, hair falling out

Ok! Wow holy crap

All that stuff but you'll look AMAZING!

Very hard on the heart

Just to be very clear - this was never an option just recently watched something on tv on anorexia and bulimia and was curious!

@A3 as a recovering bulimic, please stop. They're both horrific.

@A3: Providing someone tips on how to develop an eating disorder isn't a solution. It's a danger to someone who doesn't know the damage that can be done. It's also an insult to colleagues like PwC3 and myself who are recovering from eating disorders as well as anyone else in recovery who may not have said anything.

like

P3 and A1- this is exactly why I kept standing up to A3 despite him acting like a troll. This topic is just too serious to be disrespected and disregarded.

like

Yikes

Jk don't do that it's bad for you

You don't always necessarily lose weight either. It can cause electrolyte imbalances that can cause cardiac problems. Popped blood vessels in your eye. Destroy your full/hunger sensors.

A seriously bad strategy

A very slippery slope to permanently ruining your life. Get help

It's more effective to just starve yourself if you desire a drastic approach as such. It is the less evil.

Good for you for educating yourself on the topic! Eating disorders are a fascinating intellectual topic and I wrote several papers on them back in the day. My heart goes out to anyone with these disorders and I hope that they get the help that they need to survive and thrive.

A3- really?

Do you all feel that the Health Insurance choice is actually all the same? The coverage is absolutely copy and paste for Bronze to Platinum and the deductible/copay is very similar. I just don’t understand why we have the illusion of “choice” if the offer is the same and it is really bad (in our case). Going from $61 per paycheck for 2.5k deductible 75% copay to $500+ per paycheck with 500 deductible 85% copay. Other firms have better health insurance?
