Hi guys,
I am currently on notice period and my LWD is Sep 2, 2022. Today, I got an offer from state street mentioning my joining date as Sep 12, 2022 even though I already told HR that I would like to join from Sep 5 itself. How can I convince HR to prepone my joining date to Sep 5, 2022. I don't want to lose my one week salary guys. Pls suggest. State Street

I was making 130k as a Product Manager at a Fintech. Now 200k as a Director of Product Management
If you have 5 yrs of exp. or more don’t settle for anything below $120K and a 20% bonus. I have PMs in Canada and $120k for the Sr. PM is at the lower end of the range. Median is $135K depending on your experience and the size of the company.
OP, are you an immigrant ? This is going to be a sensitive topic but I have seen immigrants being lowballed by recruiters . Sr. PM or Sr. PO levels are comfortably over the 100k mark now even at cheap ass employers in the GTA area. I think Bell may be the only big employer offering sub 100k to newly minted Sr PMs
At a Sr. Manager level, while i worked at one of the big 5s, I have seen a salary range of from 90 to 100k plus performance linked bonus of about 15k. There are variations that can go higher. This was 3 years ago though.
Recently, during interviews, I have seen similar ranges of upto 110k but I only interviewed with 2 banks.
My frnd in Canada - GTA are who is not in fintech bt in ecommerce as Product owner is making, $135 base + 15% yearly bonus ..
Are these salaries in USD or CAD? Lol I'd say good pay is USD 150k base plus 15% bonus.
I'm currently at $156k base plus 16% bonus with 2 YoE but I received an offer in the fall for $165 base plus 20% bonus. I ultimately declined the offer, but I know that was near the top of the range for the Sr Product Mgr position at that company.
That's awesome, the ones I gave is in CAD and I do think there is parity between US counterparts and Canadian counterparts. But this stream is great for that very reason, now we know 🙂
I also have a friend in Canada that makes around $120k plus a yearly bonus! I think all of these answers seem to be around the same range :) Hope this helps.
Thank you! It does
On the above note, if you look outside the banks the potential range could be upwards of 120-125k with some bonus associated with it. There are companies which will offer more depending on Seniority and YOE.
