I work for a CPA firm, 45-50 employees, and we're looking at expanding our benefits package. Right now, we only offer 2 or 3 weeks vacation, 1 week paid sick time, healthcare, 401(k) with profit sharing, and Life/Long-term disability coverage. I started a job with a tutoring company. I had to go in for training at 2pm one day. They never told me how long I would work until I got there. Turns out I had to work until 7:30. 5 and a half hours of training. My previous experience with the same company (diff franchise) only required 1 hour of training. Anyways at the end of my shift, they said I don’t get paid for that day. They didn’t guarantee pay the next day, either. I left and said it was illegal. Was I right?

Hello. I am a recent undergrad and I am a year in at my regional banks development program. (Length is 2 years, commercial banking/credit analyst route). I’ve recently gotten a offer from JP Morgan for a corporate finance role.
I’m not sure what to do. Which has better growth and exit strat.

Current:
67K + 5% Bonus + Stock: 7% of salary

- After I get placed I had heard I would be at
80s + 10% bonus and stock at 7%
