I have 6.5 yrs of IT experience in Testing field. I have worked completely in Agile Delivery Model and have pretty decent understanding of Agile. Recently I completed my MBA in Technology Management as well. I am currently working in Accenture. I am looking for change in my career from QA to Scrum Master or PO kind of role. Can someone in this bowl help me. Thank you in advance
Anyone from BDO willing to referral?
Had a serious post partum emotions discussion with my husband yesterday and cried a ton, being honest with how I was feeling. Wasn't sure if being honest and vulnerable was going to make a big change, but this morning he was the sweetest and I'm so glad I did 😊 he changed the baby's diaper and was super positive and helpful with our 3 year old! Having coffee now and so grateful
I’m applying in round 2 - if the people who were to write my reference letters at my firm just quit, can they still write it? I wasn’t expecting this and don’t think I would be ok asking anyone else
What are the best products/content/sites/etc. to raise your Verbal score? I’ve used Manhattan, Magoosh, and a variety of GMATClub articles; am currently at V32; and am targeting V40+ in <1 month 🤓.
I work in a role that has pretty much no work-life balance, so my life is mostly consumed and defined by my role. I really don't connect personally with people at work, because work is work. But I am lonely. I'm wondering what advice you have for someone in this situation. Thanks
I've been working for a regional public accounting firm since last Summer. It's a small office and I don't really fit in. The accounting software(s) is also ancient and slow here(circa 2003). I quickly applied for a position at a Big 4 and surprisingly was quickly offered a job. The training here has been haphazard and even managers barely know how to use the software. My main concern is the awkwardness from leaving after such a short time but the commute is an hour shorter to the big 4 firm.
I haven’t worked with a therapist before but know I’m totally burnt out and need some time off from work. Has anyone successfully started a relationship with a therapist and gotten their support to do an LOA shortly after starting with them? I’m worried because I don’t have a long standing relationship with a therapist, they’ll be resistant to supporting this. Would appreciate any advice
Does anyone believe that this last school year during the pandemic was an epic failure? Who sees the last school year as a success? Please, explain. No judgment either way.
Do hotels and airlines have an option to buy insurance for situations like this where travel is massively curtailed?
I’m a 2nd year civil litigation associate at a mid-sized firm in south Florida. My dream has always been to go in house but was dissuaded by law school professors telling me not to. I’m at a crossroads now because I’m OVER the billing, but my boss and direct team is quite possibly the most amazing and supportive group. My boss is always willing to let us work remote or take vacations. My question is, is the grass greener on the other side? Should I go in house now or wait another 3 years?
Hi all, Need your advice. One of our worker’s wife is fighting cancer. We know that he needs to take care of her and work the same time to cover medical bills. So we decided to collect money for him. Should I do it secretly and only let him know after I’m done collecting money or should I get his permission first? I need to figure out which way would be less uncomfortable for him. Thanks!
I am from public acctg and a Senior for 5 years. I’ve had this conversation on my promotion to Manager and was told I need another year. I feel demotivated and getting frustrated that they do not see me as someone who can be a Manager.
People not busy on their project how are you passing time? You looking for work, reaching out for work or sitting waiting for work?
