Hi ladies - I have only done plaintiffs personal injury my entire (3 year) career. I like helping people, but I’m miserable. I don’t see things getting better when I look at the partners’ lives where I work. Anyone else kind of hitting a... breaking point with everything? No I’m not depressed, but there’s no end in sight, never got a true break from work (if anything I’m working way more than prior years), seeing more people travel/venture out, etc. Yes, I know I’m lucky to be healthy and still have a job. Any information on the culture in the NYC office of Valor Equity Partners? I have heard it can be hit or miss… Feel like it may be a great opportunity with a good firm, but not if culture is as bad as it sounds on Glassdoor.

Got blind sided into a “meeting” today by my boss, her boss and her bosses boss. Is it hard for them to inform me ahead of time that they want to schedule a meeting with me? I don’t mind constructive feedback, but it bothers me that they nit pick every decision I’ve made as a clinician. Really annoys me that they are calling into question my clinical independence. Love my patients, but PT in the SNF world is becoming too much of a business and not enough actual healthcare.
