Going to be employee 15 as opposed to an org with ~650K employees.

Same pay. A LOT of growth opportunity. Less overall benefits, but I think the experience will net me out to be a Director in just a year or two within the org, and a lot of potential to move out from there.

I'm slightly terrified, but the team feels awesome, and they have some big clients.

For those that went in house with an insurance company how many years of experience did you have and how is it? Frankly it seems attractive to me: slightly to better salary, no billables. Nor am I attracted to achieving any kind of “status” with my career. A solid six figures to live life is pretty much the goal at this point

Senior at Big 4 FDD vs Associate at A&M? Base is higher for my big 4 offer but A&M is higher in terms of total comp because of the bonus and will be compensated way more as I get promoted. Per this sub it seems like A&M is the way to go but wanted to get some thoughts.

Some of these matters are multi-plaintiff and multi-defendant cases, but none are class actions. This does not include any matters I am handling in the charge stage or in pre-litigation. Not sure if that’s a typical caseload or not?
