Anyone here work at Wellington Management and is willing to chat with me about a Data Science / Quant role? Recruiter reached out and I’m considering whether I should interview for it. Currently work at a Global Macro Desk of a MM hedge fund (think Millennium, Balyasny, Pt72) and looking to understand more about firm culture, investment process, career prospects to the extent possible and comp. Thanks!

Any helpful tips for a Google TPM interview
Joined Cibersites India Bangalore in Jan 2021 which is now htc global. There was no CTC revision with March 2022 salary, and so far, no news of CTC revision. I know employees working for over 24 months with no CTC revision. My question is are the appraisal formalities mere formalities? I'm unhappy about the pay structure. For a 65k PM CTC, I hardly get 52k in hand. With rising inflation, and no salary revisions, it's just going to be difficult. Tenured employees, please advise. 😥
Can anyone here give a referral?

Bain & Company What is the likelihood of making SAC in September 2022 if I join as an AC on April 18th at Bain & Company? I am a senior consultant at EY with 3.5 years of experience in Data Analytics. Or is March 2023 more realistic? They told me 6 months for promotion but it seems like the two promotion cycles with my different start dates give me 4 or 9 months of experience, nothing in between. I’ll be joining in the private equity group which will be new for me.

Few more years, do an MBA, apply.
DBCG here. I think that’d be helpful but not with 1-2 years of experience unfort. Associating yourself as a D BCG consultant (DAS) is consultant or up, so you’d need 2-4 years of experience at minimum. Even then, you’re better off taking B1’s approach than taking the technical route, which would align you more with our plantinion practice

Digital McK does hire people for more digital generalist roles at a few years, I would try to network your way into one of those
Thanks! Hearing that I should either look at entry level generalist roles by showing the standard strategic thinking skills these firms expect, or get a few more years of experience and/or an MBA and then look at more technical roles.
Will probably aim for the former as I’d like to do the generalist strategy consulting role and only thought to highlight my technical skills because I thought they could be a differentiator at the entry level.
