Hi Everyone,
Was hoping to get a hand or advice. I had submitted an application the Travelers for a marketing position in early November, resume shows received but nothing else. Is there someone that works there that could direct me to a HR email or contact person? Have had nothing but a positive experience working with Travelers in my last two roles as an agent and then an underwriter would love to have to the opportunity to work directly with Travelers. Any help would be greatly appreciate is!Travelers

Hello everyone, I'm a recent PhD graduate in Chemistry with experience in drug discovery in rare disease. I'm really interested in a postdoctoral position that involves drug discovery as well as PK/PD at Merck and was wondering if anyone had any tips to get in touch with the recruiter for the role or the hiring manager. Thanks so much and excited to be a part of the Pharma and Biotech Fishbowl community!!
I'll be graduating with Masters in Bioengineering next month, I have previous experience of working in lab as RA. As I'm looking for full time opportunities, I am exploring career options other than bench scientist position. Recently I came across Technical Application Scientist position at Thermo Fisher Scientific which I am interested in and I would appreciate any insights on the experience/responsibilities, career growth and salary range for this position.
If you’re making 500K at Pfizer, I’m guessing you’re probably a VP. Or maybe you have some medical or tech skill that’s highly valued. Wouldn’t getting a promotion or two get you close to that 2x return, with minimal risk? Granted, it’s not like SVP (or whatever your next level is) jobs are abundantly available or easy to get. However, the odds of that seem at least equivalent to a startup being super successful and doubling your comp. All this with the caveat of not knowing anything beyond what you typed. Don’t know anything you’re considering in risk/reward, your financial situation, what you’d be doing and how passionate you are for startup role.
Thank you for the answer. I appreciate it. You bring a great point to the situation. The job at the startup seems more attractive and aligned with my professional passion. One of the challenges is that I will need to build a network; vs. in my current job, I do have a good network of people. In a big company, significant roles are limited and highly competed. The odds of a big promotion, I would say, are very low.
Yes I would (as long as you have sufficient savings/not banking on that 500k salary to "make ends meet" in your current situation)
Only if I'm all set financially

I would not because I am risk averse but your tolerance for risk and desire for a challenge may be higher.
I would if financially set. Then hire me!
I would have to be financially set and also really believe in the startup, its vision and leadership. It is an interesting question.
